Report or Overall Summary:
The Department of Interior design and decoration organized an educational and interactive ‘Guest Lecture’ on 6th May, 2024 at 01.30 p.m. in room no.401. The Guest speaker was Ar. Jyothi Gupta presently working as a associate professor at Christ (Deemed to be University). She is an architect and has vast experience & knowledge in the field of interior design and decoration and also about the architect field.
The Topic of this lecture was “Sustainable and Green building”.
Ar. Jyothi Gupta, discussed the various concepts of “Sustainable and Green building” and their applications, importance and their objectives in daily life. She emphasized the importance and scopes of the Interior design and decoration in the real scenario. Topic continued with explained how good research will contribute to customers and the others as well. Discussion of explaining the importance of Environment and Natural resources that can be used in construction and the advantages of using the natural resource in the buildings or in any constructions. She also motivated the students to explore their career in the interior design and Architect field.
