Digital Turn in Architectural Design

Digital Turn at Building Centre, London

I had attended the exhibition organised by Architectural Association Design Research Laboratory (AADRL)  exhibition supported by Environmental Trust dated 23th Nov 2018

The space created was magnificent with creation of Abstract model in the exhibition with digital technology.

Architectural Association Design Research Laboratory (AADRL) who shared their current work, practices and research agendas along with those of their graduates, to show how innovative digital design and research tools in educational and experimental establishments are put into practice, changing the conventions of design and fabrication.

Opening the exhibition from AADRL director Theodore Spyropoulos who was speaking and conversing with alumna Melike Altınışık, founder of Melike Altınışık Architects and project director of Istanbul's 365 meter-tall Telecom Tower, opening in 2019.

The London model had explained the geo spatial analysis of the creation of space which was more defined and explanatory with massive collection.
The Model were casted on the mesh shaped cubes to house it which explains the topography and scale of the structure with more condensed and depth in creative and deep thinking with help of digital technology.

The region wise planning was in-depth with analysis of each space with buildings in polygon, point and line type of style. It had a very clear and definite style of representation of the architecture that must be really a well thought behind the content.

A wonderful learning experience in Architecture in London and vast knowledge
to gather and research on. Happy to be part of such a marvelous exhibition on Architecture digital turn at Building centre in London.
